About Me

I was born and raised in the South Bay and always dreamed about being an educator. My mission is to inspire my students to be kind, hard-working, and proud of themselves.
I graduated from Bucknell University, where I studied Education, Spanish, and Environmental Studies. Since then, I have served as an urban farm educator, bilingual educator, field educator, preschool teacher, K-3rd grade teacher, and private tutor.
What I enjoy most about teaching is forming connections with my students, finding what works for each individual, and watching students grow. I am also extremely passionate about teaching Spanish, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning.
I love bringing my experience as a teacher to one-on-one and small group environments — where l have found that learning blossoms most brilliantly.

My Values
Kindness
I always practice and encourage kindness with my students. It's cool to be kind!

My favorite motto is "practice makes progress" which speaks to the idea that progress comes with patience and continued effort. I instill this within every student, no matter their age or ability.

I value open and honest communication. Students are encouraged to express themselves and parent/guardians will be updated of their student's progress regularly.

My Process
Identify the needs of each student
Every student is unique and responds to learning styles differently. I make sure to get to know each and every student to build mutual trust and figure out what they need.
Create a customized learning plan
I find so much joy in tailoring lessons to each individual student. I create engaging, fun, and effective lesson plans for each student. If a student isn't grasping something, I change my approach to ensure they do.
Maximize each student's potential
By getting to know my students and working with them one-on-one, students thrive! Let's maximize your student's potential!
